Everyone at Dynamic Discs was devastated and heartbroken when we were forced to cancel the 2020 Glass Blown Open. The Glass Blown Open has become more than just an elite tournament that brings disc golf’s top professionals to Emporia, KS. GBO has become a disc golf vacation destination with the chance to play in multiple C-Tier events and to connect with other disc golf fans through activities such as the poker night, the Swedish bonfire, and of course, the GBO Block Party.
In the spirit of connecting people, we are going to utilize the online world to bring you the 2020 Virtual Glass Blown Open! The 2020 Virtual GBO will consist of post-produced videos, a virtual Pro Panel with top pros like Paul McBeth and Simon Lizotte, live sessions with Disc Golf Strong, GBO Player Pack unboxing, Smashboxx GBO remix tournament coverage, and a virtual flymart.
We’re sad that we won’t be able to gather in Emporia, but we’re excited to bring you some of the GBO moments that we would have shared from the comfort of your home. Even if you weren’t signed up for the event, we hope you’ll join us for the festivities!
