B Pool / D Pool Update
As of 5PM tonight the Eagle Disc Golf Course at Olpe Lake was determined to be unsafe for play. The Masters and Grandmasters divisions were unable to complete their rounds.
What’s next?
If Olpe is safe to play tomorrow morning
If the Olpe course is deemed to be safe to play tomorrow morning, the Masters and Grandmasters divisions will complete their suspended rounds on the Olpe course starting at 7:30AM. Players will start the round from their lie when the tournament was suspended. A two-minute blast will be sounded at 7:28AM, with play to start at 7:30AM. These players will proceed to Jones West for their third rounds. This information has been superseded.
The Intermediate division (Pool D) will play Olpe as originally scheduled with tee times starting at 7:30AM.
If Olpe is not safe to play tomorrow morning
If the Olpe course is determined not safe for play, the B Pool will play Jones West as originally scheduled. The divisions within the B Pool that did complete their rounds at Olpe will have the Olpe round count towards their final score. The divisions that did not compete their rounds at Olpe will not have these scores count towards their final score. This information has been superseded.
Additionally, if the Olpe course is deemed to not be safe for play, the D pool (Intermediate) will not play a final round on Saturday. The final scores for this division would be based on the first two rounds of the event.
An announcement on the status of the course will be made by 6:30AM tomorrow morning. If you have not downloaded the GBO app yet, now would be the time so that you have the most up to date information.
Saturday tee times for the B Pool will be posted for Jones West based on current player positions. Tee times will be adjusted tomorrow based on any leaderboard changes after the suspended rounds are completed.
